Spilling some beans on the same in an interview with SpotboyE, Arjun said, "I haven't really short with him yet, we don’t share screen space to that degree that every day we will be shooting together. It’s a nice interesting script where two characters are coming together at the right time to entertain you all. I’m looking forward to it.

The actor also added that he is lucky to be working with John, who is so good in this space."It’s a feeling of happiness that you get to work with somebody so good with action; he will elevate my level of action when I do with him. So it’s very exciting to work with somebody's (John) strength, it's his strength and I would like to learn,  I would like to adapt to that and I would like to showcase my strength with his help. I’m hoping it will be a nice collaborative positive experience," he said.

Life has come a full circle for the actor who was once an assistant on the sets of Salaam-E-Ishq starring John Abraham. "It’s quite fun you know I’ve been an assistant in Salaam-E-Ishq, he (John) is my producer in Sardar Ka Grandson and now I get to act opposite. In the literal sense, I have accomplished all three sites of it. So it should be fun," Arjun quips.

The 35- year-old actor is expected to resume the shoot once the lockdown is lifted, he says, "So just before Goa shut down we shot for 7-8 days out there. Yes, we hope to resume but right now it’s too early so let’s see how the mandates, the SOP’s come in, the safety, the vaccination, the healthcare system has to be okay with us shooting, because, it’s not like there would be only 6 to 10 people on the sets, it's an action film and the number would be huge, so we have to see. But we are quite hopeful that things are improving slowly and steadily without getting too carried away. In the next couple of months, we will be able to step on the set I guess."

Arjun Kapoor is currently basking in the success of his recently released film Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar which currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The actor also will be seen in Bhoot Police opposite Saif Ali Khan.
